The President opened the Trump U.N. General Assembly speech by declaring that the United States is now the “hottest country anywhere in the world” and experiencing a “golden age of America”. He claimed his administration successfully reversed an “economic calamity,” stating that inflation has been “defeated,” energy and grocery prices are down, and the stock market has hit a record high 48 times in a “short period of time”. He further asserted that workers’ wages are “rising at the fastest pace in more than 60 years”. The President noted that in eight months, the U.S. secured commitments for over $17 trillion in investment, contrasting this with less than $1 trillion during the previous four years. The President opened the Trump U.N. Addressing Migration and Sovereignty in the Trump U.N. General Assembly Speech

A significant portion of the Trump U.N. General Assembly speech focused on immigration. President Trump claimed his administration repelled a “colossal invasion” on the southern border and stated that the number of illegal aliens admitted or entering the country had been “zero” for four consecutive months. He warned that those who come illegally will face jail or deportation.A significant portion of the Trump U.N. General Assembly speech focused on immigration. The President then accused the U.N. of actively supporting illegal migration, alleging that the body budgeted $372 million in cash assistance for an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States. He said the U.N. also provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens to “infiltrate our southern border”. He argued that the U.N. is “supposed to stop invasions not create them and not finance them”.

President Trump stated that Western Europe faces “serious trouble” due to being “invaded by a force of illegal aliens”. He cited prison statistics from Germany, Austria, Greece, and Switzerland, where foreign nationals or migrants represented 50%, 53%, 54%, and 72% of inmates, respectively, to argue it is “time to end the failed experiment of open borders”.

Foreign Policy and Conflicts

In terms of global affairs, the President claimed that America is “respected again” and highlighted increased defense spending commitments by NATO members from 2% to 5% of GDP. He stated that his administration had ended “seven unendable wars” in seven months, including conflicts involving Cambodia/Thailand, Kosovo/Serbia, Congo/Rwanda, Pakistan/India, Israel/Iran, Egypt/Ethiopia, and Armenia/Azerbaijan.In terms of global affairs, the President claimed that America is “respected again” and highlighted increased defense spending commitments by NATO members from 2% to 5% of GDP. The Trump U.N. General Assembly speech included a harsh assessment of the U.N.’s role in conflict resolution, with the President noting that the U.N. “did not even try to help” finalize any of the seven peace deals he claims to have brokered. He questioned the body’s purpose, suggesting that “all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter”.

Regarding the Middle East, the President discussed an operation he called “Midnight Hammer,” in which seven B2 bombers allegedly dropped 14 30,000-pound bombs on Iran’s “key nuclear facility,” obliterating it. He claimed this action immediately brokered an end to the 12-day war between Israel and Iran. On Gaza, he called for an immediate ceasefire but stressed that recognizing a Palestinian state would be a reward for Hamas’s atrocities, including the October 7th attack, and demanded that the group “Release the hostages now”.

On Ukraine, the President stated that the war “would never have started” if he were president. He criticized China and India for being the “primary funders” of the war by purchasing Russian oil and urged European nations to cease all Russian energy purchases, or face strong U.S. tariffs.

The President also announced a U.S.-led effort to enforce the biological weapons convention through an AI verification system, citing the danger of man-made pathogens.

Finally, the Trump U.N. General Assembly speech defended the use of tariffs as a “defense mechanism” to ensure a fair and reciprocal global trade system. He stated that Brazil now faces “major tariffs” in response to “unprecedented efforts to interfere in the rights and freedoms of our American citizens”.Finally, the Trump U.N.
