Burger King is stepping up to the plate with some serious fast food news for the fall season. They decided to create a completely new menu dedicated entirely to game days and weekend watch parties. This is going to be a fun addition for anyone who gets hungry during a long football game.

The main star of this new menu is definitely the Game Day Pretzel Burger. We all know that loaded nachos and soft pretzels are classic game day snacks but now they are combined into one big meal. It is basically taking your favorite stadium food and putting it right into a filling burger so you do not have to choose between them.
A special partnership with SuperPretzel
Burger King did not just make any random pretzel bun for this new sandwich. They actually teamed up with the popular brand SuperPretzel to create the perfect soft pretzel bun for their menus. It is always nice to see a fast food chain work with a real baking company to get the bread right.
What is inside the new Pretzel Burger
This new burger features a quarter pound beef patty topped with American cheese bacon crispy onions and warm nacho cheese sauce. All of these heavy ingredients are squeezed together inside that warm soft pretzel bun we just talked about. I hope they put plenty of that nacho cheese sauce inside so every bite is super cheesy.
Upgrading the famous Chicken Fries
Burger King is also giving their beloved Chicken Fries a fun little upgrade for this sports season. The fan favorite menu item will now come with a special side of melted nacho cheese sauce for dipping. This makes total sense because cheese dip is basically the ultimate football party food anyway.
Previous menu testing in local markets
The company actually tested out this Game Day Pretzel Burger and the special Chicken Fries back in 2025. During that test run the burger was originally called the Game Day Pretzel Whopper. It seems like the test was a success since they are finally rolling it out for everyone else to enjoy now.
Changes made since the initial test phase
During the early tests they actually breaded the Chicken Fries with crushed tortilla chips but people thought they were way too salty. Burger King made the smart choice to ditch that extra breading and just serve the regular Chicken Fries with the cheese sauce instead. The burger is still the exact same build but they just gave it a slightly shorter name.
Available for a limited time only
Remember that this special Game Day Menu is only sticking around for a limited time this fall season. You will want to visit your local Burger King soon after October 6 if you want to try the pretzel burger yourself.
